My heart is over joyed with all of the workers, teenagers, and kids that participated in our 2024
Vacation Bible School! We prayed specifically as a church that VBS would bring God glory and I believe the Lord answered our prayers.
Thank you parents for entrusting us with the safety, well-being, and education of your child. Ourgoal this week was to teach your child that God can be and wants to be their friend. He is a friend that
is real, a friend they can trust, a friend that loves, a friend for everyone, and it is a friendship that is
eternal.
A relationship with Christ gives us that opportunity to be God’s friend. The Gospel of John chapter 15:14-15 says, “You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have
heard from my Father I have made known to you.”
A friendship with God can begin now, and will carry on all through eternity. This relationship begins with the Gospel! What is the Gospel? It is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ died
once for our sins, and became that penalty that we rightly deserved! The payment was made, but it did
not end there. Jesus was then buried and rose three days later to conquer death and hell so that God’s
children do not have to endure a separation from God for all of eternity. What great news! If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, I would love to show your from God’s Word how you can know of God’s Love!
